FUTO Protest: Students protest hike in School fees, destroy school facilites(See Photos)

 Students of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), today, embarked on a massive protest against  hike in school fees and the failure of the university authorities to provide free Wi-Fi services, which was one of the reasons listed as a reason for the hike of the school fees. 

  The Protest was said to have started after the school authorities gave the students an ultimatum to pay up or pay an additional fine of N10,000.
 Reports say the protest escalated leading to destruction of school facilities despite heavy police presence in the school.
