Following the breakdown in relations between the Leadership of the NLC Ebonyi state chapter and the state government, Governor David Umahi has directed the Head of Service to retrieve the four buses donated
to the NLC and redistribute them to the NUT, NULGE, TUC, and the Association of Junior Workers.
The Governor further directed that the Fiscal Responsibility Commission should immediately investigate allegations of commercialization of the buses by Mr. Ikechukwu Nwafor and other members of the NLC for possible prosecution.
He announced that his administration will cease to see Mr. Ikechukwu Nwafor as chairman of the NLC in the state because of the leadership of the NLC in the State was part of the negotiation that agreed to implement the new pensions scheme, stating that the sudden change in stance by Labour leadership as decietful and an insult to the sensibility of Ebonyians.
