Being in church today made me realize certain things we do in church with even realizing it's wrong
1. Open your eyes while prayers are on:
Don't beat yourself up too hard, most of us are guilty of this. For some reason we open our eyes immediately after the Man of God says "close your eyes let us pray, In J....." your eyes are open. . . instead of checking if the angels are passing, we look for the people who are not closing their eyes for the prayers or people doing one thing or the other.
2. Checking out other people/dress code:
This is more applicable to ladies/women, maybe it is because of the time spent in making up and other things that take place in the -other room- else, We are probably checking if the rumours we might have heard about them are true. As for guys, we already know that your scanners are on(Some people will want to claim innocence)
3. Checking your phone for ........
Now, This is an involuntary action for many people. sometimes we just pick up our phones, especially the ones with access to the internet. maybe it is to check for gossip update, Sunday groove plans or whatsoever. Before you say you want to use the bible app in your phone, kindly remember the bible verse that says "lead me not into temptation but....."
