Impressive! Big Brother Naija relaunched, Largely a Nigerian program

The 2017 Big Brother Naija has kicked off yesterday Sunday 22nd January 2017 with 12 housemates (contestants) who will gradually be evicted through the period
of 11 week leaving just one winner at the end of the show.


The show kicked off once again with performances from award winning Nigerian singers, Yemi Alade, Flavour and K9

The host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a former housemate who introduced the housemates said he remains one of the biggest supporters of the show.

It is worthy of note that many things about the 2017 Big Brother Naija is majorly Nigerian for example, the winner's monetary prize of 25million is in Naira, Foods, drinks, fabrics, decors, props are largely from Nigeria, The popular Big Brother Voice is that of a Nigerian and majority of the housemates are Nigerians.

Big Brother Naija was first launched in 2006 in favour of the Nigerians who enjoyed the Original show but had somewhat expressed displeasure in the nudity level

The series will run for 78 days and end on April 9.

 The 12 housemates who will be entertaining Nigerians are: Efe, Gifty, CoCoice, Kemen, Miyonse, Bally, Bisola, Marvis, Tony, Uriel, Tokunbor, Soma.
