Attempts by the ministry of water resources to alleviate the water scarcity being experienced by residents of the Ebonyi state capital witnessed a major setback as multiple pipeline leaks were experienced in different parts of the town.
Despite these leakages, residents still trooped to these points to get water. Keke napep filled with jerry cans became a common sight as people mobbed these points as if it was an oil leakage.
We just hope the ministry of Water resources respond fast before we experience another round of guinea worm epidemic.
