Ebonyi State Government releases five million to prevent lassa fever outbreak

Ebonyi State Government has approved the release of 5 million naira for the prevention of outbreak lassa fever disease in the state.

The commissioner of Information ans state orientation Senator Emmanuel Onwe disclosed this while briefing journalists on the outcome of their weekly state executive council meeting in Abakaliki.
The State Government further directed caretaker committee chairmen of the thirteen Local Government areas and the coordinators of development centres to Set up Lassa fever control committees in their areas within twenty four hours.
