Gov Umahi renames Abakaliki Township Stadium After The Oldest Man in Ebonyi

The Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi has renamed the Abakaliki Township Stadium after the late Ngele Oruta, the oldest man in the state.
The Abakaliki Township Stadium has undergone re-construction and currently wears a new look will now be addressed as Ngele Oruta.


Ngele Oruta was lead to rest on Friday at Amagu-Izzi, in the Abakaliki Local Government Area of the state in a ceremony that attracted dignitaries from all parts of the country.

In a statement by Emmanuel Uzor, his Chief Press Secretary, Governor Umahi eulogised Oruta’s immense contribution to the development of the state.
