Ebonyi State House of Assembly Confirms Caretaker Chairmen Nominees

Ebonyi State House of Assembly have screened and confirmed eleven nominees for the post of caretaker chairmen of local government areas in the state.

The Screening exercise was in line with Governor David Umahi’s request that the nominees will be screened for appointment into local government system. The Governor had earlier terminated their appointments.

The list of confirmed nominees include

Mr . Eni Uduma Chima                   Afikpo South LGA

Mr. Richard Idike                              Izzi LGA

Mr. Anselem Enigwe                      Ebonyi LGA

Mrs. Elizabeth Onwe                      Onicha LGA

Mr Clement Odah                            Ohaukwu LGA

Mr. Henry Eze                                   Ishielu LGA

Mr.  Joseph Egede                           Ezza South LGA

Dr. Nora Aloh                                     Ezza North LGA

Mr. Ogbonnaya Chukwude         Ivo LGA

Mr. Ogbonnaya Oko-Enyim         Afikpo North LGA

Meanwhile, The nominee for Ohozara  LGA was not screened for not submitting his file while, nominee for Ikwo LGA was to be entertained in the next plenary of the house.

The House of assembly also entertained a total of  N120 million naira to be drawn from stabilization account of the state for rehabilitation of the original settlers of centenary city.
