The Joint Labour stated that the Report submitted by The Special salary committee lead by Dr Sam Egwu is unacceptable as it was without recourse to the Organized Labour Submissions based on the economic realities of the State.
The Organised labour further noted that the Engineer dave Umahi lead government is unwilling to pay workers salary on the current salary table even when the economic reality of the state clearly shows the government can clearly convienently and comfortably pay salaries
Meanwhile, Gov David umahi has called directed the ministry of finance to pay LG and State civil servants using the old salary scale.
