In a release, the Special adviser to the Governor on Labour relations Comrade Grace O. Chukwu Stated
That the Governor has directed all Civil servants in the State to report for work at their respective duty posts from Monday as failure to comply would mean that they have absconded from service.
The SA further stated that the Governor had promised to implement the report from the Special Salary Reconciliation Committee, A Report the Organized labour has rejected as stated in our earlier post.
Meanwhile, Workers around the state are already prepared to carry out the labour directive stating that the EBSG is fully aware of its manipulations. One of the workers who spoke on the condition of anonymity said " The governor can sack the entire civil service and employ his kinsmen, the one week warning strike will hold".
