Maxmillian Kolbe Chaplaincy Celebrates Youth Week

The week long youth week programme of the catholic youth organisation of nigeria (CYON) of st maximillian kolbe prison chaplaincy Abakaliki has climaxed with a thanksgiving mass at the church.
The week kick started with a talk/prayer by evangelist stivimario okoye followed by HIV/AIDS Seminar/counselling and testing, Entrepreneurship workshop. Other activities include novelity matches between youths and the fathers/mothers. In the male category, the fathers defeated the youths by 2-1 while in the female category, the youth edged past their mothers courtesy of a late goal from chiamaka. The was also the launching of the volley ball pitch. The climax of the event was the unveiling of Miss CYON 2015 which was won by Miss Esther ikwa in a pagent keenly contested. Youths and the entire parishioners attest to having been richly blessed by the week long event.
