I have been expecting this for sometime. The last hope for a quick snack for the common man is gone. Yes, GALA has broken many hearts most especially students.
UAC Foods has introduced a "upgraded" sausage roll in the market. The sauasge roll which is christened Gala Mega is twice the size of the normal sausage sells for twice the price of the former.
According to the General Marketing Manager of the company, Mrs Joan Ihekwaba, The innoation was in direct response of the yearnings of the consumers as most consumers have been found to eat multiple sausage rolls as one no longer fills them up.
So in the coming weeks, we should expect N50 gala will be extinct.
