Missing pot of rice in Abakaliki

Wonders they say will never end, a woman lost her cooking pot of rice

on sunday when she left the cooking space  to go inside her house  for some minutes to get her condiments and attend to her crying child just to come out of the house and her pot of rice was gone.


The middle aged woman who resides behind Nnodo Secondary school, Amike-Aba could  not believe the pot of rice she had put on fire for dinner for her family had developed wings and flown away infront of her apartment where she cooks.


According to her, even members of her family and neighbours were just shocked as she was when they learnt what had happened.


Recession has been blamed for the missing pot as The Public Relations Officer Ebonyi State Police command described the incident as funny and noted that it had not been reported to the command yet.

A middle-aged woman identified as Agnes on Sunday in Abakaliki lost the pot of rice she was cooking to thieves. Some pressmen who visited Agnes’ residence behind Nnodo Secondary School, Amike-Aba on Monday report that she was still in shock over the incident.
