EBHA passes 2016 bugdet into law

The Ebonyi state house of Assembly has passed the 2016 budget appropriation bill of over N101 million has been passed into law. The Budget which was earlier presented by the governor to the Ebonyi state house of assembly earlier in the month of december.

The report was presented by the Chairman house committee on finance and appropriation Chief Kingsley Ikoro. Presenting the report, Chief Ikoro Stated that the commitee invited all the agencies and parastals associated with the budget to make clarifications where necessary. He noted that there were typo-graphical errors in the report and made some recommendations.

The report was accepted as a working report of the house. The committee was subsequently dissolved to allow the Speaker of the house to assume chairman of the committee. The speaker of the house Chief francis Nwifuru ruled that the recommendations of the committee will
be effected and the budget was passed into law.
